I'm no way a professional painter. I'm just learning. I will answer your questions as good as I can: -What grit/pad did you prep with?
Light grit pad to remove the gloss
-Did you wipe it clean with wax/grease remover followed by a tack cloth as your last step before priming?
I used a surface cleaner for plastic / urethane.
-What primer did you use?
Automotive primer
-Was it single stage or two part?
I assume single stage
-What thinner and what application method did you use?

-What were the conditions during coating (temp,humidity)?
The primer was applied when humidity was normal, but the base coat was applied when humidity was high.
-Was it a non sanding primer, or were you supposed to sand before basecoat?
I used a sanding primer and sanded before before the first coat of paint.
-How long did you wait before applying your basecoat?
1 week after the first coat of primer, then sanded, added another coat of primer, waited about an hour, then sanded again, then first coat of paint. When sanding the first coat of paint, I notice the paint/primer was peeling of.
